The aerodrome is located 14km North of the township of Clare at 90 RM Williams Way Clare 5453 in the Clare Valley, South Australia. The Clare Valley is a perfect stop-off location with a magnificent 18 hole Golf Course and over 30 cellar doors to visit, all within 40km. There are plenty of bed & breakfast and luxury accommodation options available.

The Clare Valley Aerodrome was established by the Clare Valley Flying Group Inc, a non-profit organization with a strong community focus. Its members come from the Clare Valley, the mid-north region, and even from other states. The CVFG Inc is dedicated to promoting the region through significant aerial initiatives and contributing to community development.
