The Clare Valley Aerodrome is located 14km North of the township of Clare on RM Williams Way .

 2010-2011 Construction commenced to establish an Aerodrome for the region. Consisting of a Main Runway 17/35 (1200m long x 18m wide ) built to RFDS standards for aircraft 5,700kg.

2012 Construction of a 600m long grass Cross Strip commenced along with the constructionn of the Terminal Building which was completed in 2013.

2014-Hard stand area was bitumised and fencing around Terminal Building completed

November  1st 2014-Clare Valley Aerodrome  officially opened by Richard de Crespigney Qantas QF32 Pilot and his father Peter.

March 4th 2019- All Weather Runway & Lighting Upgrade Project commenced

The Clare Valley is the perfect stop-off location with a magnificent 18 hole Golf Course (known as one of the best country courses in South Australia)

There are over 30 cellar doors to visit and they are all within 40km of each other and as the heart of Australian Riesling, the Clare Valley is home to some of the best Riesling wines in Australia.

With an array of bed & breakfast and luxury accomodation options and fine dining restaurants aplenty, the Clare Valley is a fantastic place to stay and visit

The Clare Valley holds a fascinating history waiting for the inquisitive traveller to uncover at the various historic sites Martindale Hall, Sevenhill Cellars, Bungaree Station, Horrock's Cottage,Museums,Clare Riesling Trail and the Burra Passport Heritage Trail
